Drawing on the sounds of anthemic 70s punk and pop-infused 80s new wave, The Hot Takes are unleashing their glamorous neon-drenched rock & roll on the Bay Area and beyond. Inspired by such acts as The Clash, The Killers, and Talking Heads, The Hot Takes unite the familiar and future with iconic guitar hooks, rhythmic dance grooves, and evocative vocals.
Tell Me Tell Me is a dance grunge band from Oakland. Yearning melodies soar over melted guitar riffs and driving, danceable drum beats. The music celebrates loss at points of no return, and Tell Me Tell Me leads the ceremony. Influences can be heard from LCD Soundsystem, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Dirty Projectors.
